PSP 1000
PlayStation Portable, the PSP is Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) manufactured hand-held game console. PSP was first released at E3 2003 and was revealed at E3 at Sony press conference in 11 May 2004. The device went on sale first in Japan, 12 December 2004, and it was released in North America and Europe in March 2005.
PSP has sold in June 2007, 26 million copies worldwide. The device can be used for playing, to watch movies, listen to music, browse web sites and view digital photos. Its main recording medium is UMD discs but it also supports USB and Sony Memory Stick memory cards.
Other features of PSP are stereo speakers, headphone, wireless networking and a large LCD display.
There are 4 models of PSP: PSP-1000, PSP-2000, PSP-3000 and PSP Go. Biggest difference PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 is that PSP-2000 is slimmer and lighter. Biggest addition to PSP-2000, the PSP-3000 has a built-in microphone and improved LCD screen.
